This is another photograph I made for Photo Techniques. The night I processed this film, we were sampling new developers. This one is the developed with Kodak XTOL and pushed N+1. The developer suits the needs of the negative. All the detail in the wood table and the objects are gorgeous...

These photographs were made with in the pitch black with an LED. The exposures ranged from 15 seconds to 2 minutes. I particularly enjoyed being part of the experience. Viewing the prints in person look great. The black on the Ilford Warm Tone Fiber Paper are just gorgeous. The first image is shot with Kodak Tri-X 400 and processed in Kodak D-76. The other photograph were shot on Ilford FP4+ 125 and processed in Pink Pyro, which i found to be an exciting experiment for my Photo Techniques class...

This is just something i'm beginning to put together for my final open project for Color Photography. I'm photographing people as they wake up in the morning. I kicked off the project with photographing my family, Olivia, and a kid that i live with, Dan. It's been a lot of work so far, but the results are kind of interesting. Stay tuned...

During spring break i went back to Vermont for a few days. I shot at a place where they make cement right when the sun was setting. It was for a photo techniques assignment where i had to push development. These two turned out well...

While waiting for some film to finish washing, i photographed my newly labeled locker. I took them with my cell phone camera. I'm pretty blow away by the quality after emailing them to myself. I think i may have to use this camera more often...

Scanned RC Color Prints

I decided to show some different identities of myself for my self portrait assignment in Color Photography. I was pretty happy with the responses due to how they were pretty readable and stuff. I was inspired by the work of Nikki S Lee and some later works by Cindy Sherman. I was trying to pull the Napoleon Dynamite facial expressions to add a comical side to the photographs. I would change the background now, but i guess i always want to change stuff later on anyway...
