It's always a treat being able to walk around the block to the MFA Boston and look at artwork. The other day I went to go look at the Photography from the Bank of America Collection and I eventually found myself in the new wing. It's funny how after looking at a bunch of world famous photographs, I end up getting the most out of an Andrew Wyeth painting. With him, there is always a conversation between nature and man and the overall aesthetic of the images have so much in common with my photos; clothes, interiors, landscapes. Among other painters, I was also attracted to Scott Prior and of course Edward Hopper, all for different reasons...
